Rules concerning withdrawal

If a child has to be withdrawn from school, parents are requested to give one calendar month’s notice in writing, failing which, one month’s fee will be charged in lieu thereof. Exception may be made in case of a sudden transfer of Government or Military personnel.

Those who leave the school in the month of May must in all cases pay the fee for the month of June. Transfer Certificate for children withdrawn will not be issued until all dues are settled Student can be asked to leave the school on the following grounds

Recommendations to Guardian

1. Parents are requested not to enter classrooms either to see their children or to seek interviews with the teachers during school hours. Interviews should be arranged through the Principal only.
2.They are requested to co-operate with the school in its attempt to help their children’s progress by paying attention to their regularity, punctuality and discipline and by taking interest in their children’s work. They should check the diary everyday and note the homework and any other instructions, if given. They are advised to check the bags of their wards to see if any notice, invitation, etc. has been issued.
3. They are requested to inform the school if there is any change in their address or telephone number.
4. Leave for half day should be avoided as far as possible. In an emergency, written permission must be taken from the Principal & the class teacher.
i).Children, when sick, must not be sent to school to attend classes. The child’s name, class, section and the bus no. (if applicable) must be clearly mentioned in the applications.
ii).Parents are requested to co-operate in the work of the school by enforcing regularity & discipline and ensuring that the school rules are observed. They must check the Almanac regularly and sign the home assignment/remarks, etc. meant for their information.
8. Kindly check the uniform, nails and hair of your ward every morning. They should be immaculately turned out daily.
9. Please ensure that your ward carries text/exercise books according to the time table only. No extra books are allowed. We do not want our children to be burdened by a heavy school bag.
10. Children should not bring crackers, colors, transistors, cameras, mobile phones etc. to the school. F3ursting of crackers and playing with colors is liable to expulsion from the school.
11. There must be a name tag on each of your ward’s belongings. Expensive articles and jewellery are not allowed in the school. In violation of this rule, the article may be confiscated. The school bears no responsibility for articles lost in school.

Exam Rules

Students are not expected to use unfair means during examinations.
The Students are liable to be penalized it found doing so.
Final semester exams, if missed, must be taken again for promotion to the next class.
Any student who misses out any semester exam (I or II) will not be considered for any academic award.
Assignment & MCQ are not con ducted again, if missed.

Discipline

To enforce the above rules more effectively, we have decided to introduce white, yellow and red cards.

Rules concerning absence

Must have at least 75% attendance for promotion to the next class. Please note that no short leave or half day is allowed in case the student wants to leave during.
